Franklin County recognizes the many financial and personal impacts of the current COVID-19 emergency and we are committed to helping every tax payer in Franklin County during this unprecedented and challenging time. Because the majority of Franklin County property taxes flow through to other entities, such as taxing districts, public schools, and the requirements of providing essential governmental services such as law enforcement and judicial processes, we have determined that it is necessary to keep the original due date of April 30, 2020. However, the Franklin County Treasurer is offering several different extended payment plans to help relieve the financial burden for those in need.

If you are in need of such assistance please review the attached payment plans. Once you have reviewed the payment plan and would like to get set up on a plan or have further questions please reach out to the Treasurer's office via email or by phone (509)545-3518.

In response to the COVID-19 emergency, most county offices, including the Treasurer's office, are working with reduced staffing and limited office hours. Citizens are encouraged to visit our website ( for tax information as well as online payments.

Payments of property taxes can be made via mail but must be postmarked April 30, 2020. In addition, a payment drop box is available at the parking lot of the Courthouse (1016 N. 4th Ave Pasco, WA) outside the security building. Envelopes to put your payment in are available inside the security building. (No Cash)

Treasurer's office staff members are available Monday - Friday from 9 AM to 12 PM via phone and are available during our normal business hours 8:30 to 5:00 Monday - Friday by email at

Again, this is a difficult challenge, balancing personal financial impacts and also services provided by the county and cities. We are constantly monitoring the situation and will be updating our website as needed.

Thank you
