Now in its third year, Savor the Flavor: A Culinary Experience is a showcase of the Region’s premier wine, beer and spirit producers, chefs and culinary personalities, unique restaurants and kitchen/cooking-related products. Produced by TASTE Tri-Cities Magazine, the event benefits Oasis School, the small school for big minds in Richland, WA, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
A world-class wine, food and culinary extravaganza, the two-day event joins tastemakers from all aspects of the food and wine industry: Celebrity chefs, sommeliers, vintners and retailers; 20 winemakers, spirit companies and breweries; over 30 local culinary artisans and their fine restaurants; media personalities and more.
Come for lunch and stay for dinner at Savor the Flavor’s Mid-Columbia Flavors tasting pavilion. The chefs of favorite Tri-Cities area restaurants will serve up appetizer portions of their signature recipes. Beer, wine and spirits will be well represented as well, where you can sip and taste a variety of different beverages. For a nominal charge ($1 - $4) per taste/bite you will be able to savor the flavors of numerous eateries, wineries, breweries and distilleries.
Savor the Flavor 2009 is the equivalent to “The Food Network meets the Tri-Cities.” In 2005, more than 5,000 people that came through our doors -- and we expect between 7,000 to 10,000 attendees this year. This event will show all the fabulous food and restaurant options the Tri-Cities has to offer, while showcasing culinary vendors, educational workshops and entertainment to satisfy every palate.
