Franklin County is soliciting Request for Qualifications (RFQ) from consultants with expertise in bridge design for the purpose of preparing a bid ready solution for the replacement of Coyan Bridge #200-9.93 project. This project has both federal and state funding. This agreement will be for approximately two years in duration with the option for Franklin County to extend it for additional time and money if necessary. Consultants will be considered for the following project.

REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS - ENGINEERING AND SURVEYING SERVICES FOR

LEON DRIVE AND ESTELLA DRIVE WATERLINE REPLACEMENT PROJECT

Basin City Water and Sewer District  is requesting qualified engineers to submit statements of qualification to perform a scope of work that includes but is not limited to surveying of existing conditions, design of the last phase for the realignment and reconstruction of an existing water distribution system in Basin City, environmental assessment and documentation, identify and obtain permit(s) (if any), identify and obtain temporary construction permit(s), provide complete design services including completion of plans, specification, and cost estimate, coordinate with landowners, utilities, local, state, and federal agencies, and have knowledge and experience with the requirements and procedures of HUD’s CDBG federal grants and USDA RD loans. The firm may be considered for subsequent phases for additional work. The firm’s engagement to complete subsequent phases depends upon the firm’s satisfactory performance during the preliminary engineering phase and upon negotiation of a supplement to this agreement. The project budget, including construction, is approximately $895,000, with plans and specifications complete by January 1st, 2018.
